Rebecca Muthoni Ogeto known by her stage name Becky Muthoni born 5th July 1996 is a Kenyan singer. Her vocal talent was discovered at a young age but it was not until she finished high school that she recorded her first single midnight blues in 2016. She started focusing on making music that reflected her principals which include a royal representation of women. In 2017 she went no to record her second single dubbed nakupenda love which basically talks about love. In 2018 Becky got the chance opportunity to work with a big producer from Jamaica called Skipper on a riddim dubbed Tunataka change. Becky finally met her new brake in 2020 when she met producer Shamir Tadeiya a legendary producer from Kenya were she recorded her first EP called MasterKey with a major collaboration with one of the biggest reggae artist in Kenya Shamir Tadeiya.
Becky has had a chance to perform in August Memorial Park an event dubbed Tunataka Change Concert , at an event called Name experience and also in commemoration of world peace day she performed at the peace concert.
Becky Muthoni specializes in reggae, lovers rock and dancehall music.
She chose this genre of music because she believes it possesses a lot in life. She believes that it draws people to it and it does not discriminate as anyone can listen and sing along to it.Her music is inspired by love , her relationships and her daily life experiences
Becky draws her inspiration from legendary artists like Etana, Lauren Hill, Alaine and Tanya Stephens just to mention a few
She is a firm believer in patience stating that “patience has a way of shaping life“
