Empire Gig (“we”, “our”, “the Platform”) is a digital marketplace that connects creatives, vendors, promoters, and customers to:
- Book artists and services
- Buy and sell products
- Purchase event tickets
- Enter into AI-assisted contracts
- Process payments via integrated gateways
By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Platform
Empire Gig acts as:
- A facilitator (not the direct seller or service provider)
- A technology provider for payments, contracts, and discovery
We do not guarantee:
- Quality of services or products
- Artist performance outcomes
- Event execution
3. Accounts
You must:
- Be 18+
- Provide accurate information
- Keep login credentials secure
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Fraud
- Abuse
- Violations of platform rules
4. Payments & Fees
Payments are processed via:
- Stripe
- Pesapal
- Flutterwave
Platform fees may include:
- Marketplace sales commission (~4.5%)
- Ticketing fees (~3%)
- Booking/creative commission based on tier
All payments are:
- Subject to gateway fees
- Held or processed under platform escrow rules where applicable
5. Bookings & Deal Room
Bookings are facilitated through:
- Deal Room negotiations
- AI-assisted contract generation
Once a contract is agreed:
- It becomes binding between parties
- Payment acts as confirmation of agreement
Empire Gig is not liable for disputes but may assist in resolution.
6. Tickets & Events
- Tickets are digital and uniquely validated
- Once scanned, tickets are considered used
- Event responsibility lies with organizers
7. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the platform illegally
- Misrepresent services or products
- Harass or scam other users
8. Intellectual Property
All platform design, systems, and branding belong to Empire Gig.
Users retain ownership of their content but grant us usage rights to operate the platform.
9. Liability Limitation
Empire Gig is not liable for:
- User disputes
- Failed bookings
- Third-party payment issues
Use of the platform is at your own risk.
10. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time.
11. Governing Law
Applicable laws include:
- Kenya Data Protection Act (2019)
- International commercial standards
