Brandy Maina is an independent artist with a golden flow and great penmanship. She pursued Advertising/Communication at Daystar University then later joined a music school known as Sauti Academy. Her ability to dance, sing, and write songs has secured her a solid fan base in the music industry and great engagement on her social media platforms.

The rising star started singing in 2017 when she performed at Koroga Festival and kicked off an ever-growing music career that led her into dominating the Instagram space with original music that she created consistently. Her most engaging live performance, ‘Calm Down’ on the Newsic Room opened doors that had her featured on multiple articles and live TV shows.

Despite the fall back from when COVID 19 hit, she opened an online songwriting class that helped her sharpen her songwriting skills as she managed to inspire others on the same. From writing songs for other artists, partnering with Mdundo, an African distribution company, and teaching up-and-coming artists to confidently use social media as a tool for success.

Ultimately, the black queen is an inspiration to the millennial group and is about to make art that will change up the scene.
