Njerae

Njerae has performed at a number of corporate and creative stages. One of the most memorable days in her life was when she performed during the memorial services of Jo Cox* at the British High Commissioners residence in Nairobi. “It was such an honor for me to sing to Jo Cox’s friends at her memorial service. It showed me how much power music holds because they chose to use nothing but music to remember such an honorable person’s life.”

(*Jo Cox, a mother of 2 young children was a British MP. She was murdered on the street a fortnight before the referendum that saw the UK leave the European Union while campaigning.)

Njerae is highly innovative, creative, motivated, reliable and a very supportive team member. Njerae has performed in front of president Kibaki at a number of State House events and His Highness the Aga Khan at a

high school function in Mombasa. Njerae has also performed at Tetrapak international’s 60th anniversary at the Villa Rosa Kempinski in Nairobi and at the Africa Nouveau Festival 2018. She has shared a stage with Aloe Blacc, Just a band, Mayonde, Sage, Jarel and Estelle as a background vocalist for Muthoni The Drummer Queen at Blankets and Wine and has performed at Junk festival, Engage, Love and light, Ndimi Zetu , Hesabika conference, Paragasha, Imarika festival, Africa Nouveau Festival among many other functions and festivals.
